Craig Delmage is the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Algonquin College, overseeing information security and data privacy covering 4,000 employees, as well as 3 campuses with 20,000 in-person and 40,000 online students. Craig manages the cyber security team and is also a member of the newly created Algonquin Centre for Applied Cyber Security, an academic unit created to research and build new cyber security programming.
Previously, Craig held numerous positions at Entrust Inc., an area high tech firm, including Director, Professional Services, and Director Business Development. Craig worked in the Canadian Federal government, including at Foreign Affairs, Treasury Board and was Chief, IT Security, Citizenship and Immigration Canada.
Craig is a frequent lecturer and writer on cyber security. He is a founder of the first Information Security graduate program in Canada, as well as founder of the Cyber Security Days annual conference held in Ottawa each year.
